Organises Meetings
TAA organises meetings in London, Scotland and the SW of England , to discuss all aspects of tropical agriculture and related topics. It also organises a stand at the Royal Show each year

Publishes a Newsletter
TAA publishes a quarterly Newsletter. which includes summaries of TAA meetings, details of future meetings, book reviews, and informal articles. 
FrontPage The Newsletter accepts E-Mail contributions (both letters and short articles) to the TAA Newsletter from members. Please send your contribution to  editor_ newsletter@taa.org.uk giving your TAA membership number and postal address.

Circulates an Annual List of Members
An annual list of members is also published. 
Names of members who have moved and  whose new addresses are not on the TAA database, are given on these web pages. If you know the f orwarding addresses of these missing members please let the  membership secretary know.

The TAA has joined the British Consultants & Construction Bureau (BCCB). Membership will be of particular interest and value to members who have already “signed up” with our Agribusiness Group. Provides Travel Funds for Young Graduates
TAA provides funds to enable young graduates to gain experience of tropical agriculture. Click on funds above to go to application forms.
Plane A large number of young persons have managed to gain experience of tropical agriculture with the help of funds provided by the TAA.

Provides Travel grants for 'South-South training
Grants are available to  provide funds for technical personnel working for an agricultural project in  a tropical country to receive appropriate training in another tropical country. Encourages Discussion 
 It is also acts as a forum for the exchange of news and views of members. These views may be published either in the Newsletter or on the TAA discussion page.

Class Members views on the implications for tropical agriculture of organic farming and genetically modified crops would be especially welcome. Please email your contributions to scottish_organiser giving your name and TAA membership number.
